📢WOMEN THAT HAVE ACCESSED PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES: Please share this research opportunity with your partner 📢

💫Hello, my name is Emily and I am undertaking a study as part of my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Teesside University. The study aims to generate understanding of partners' experiences of community perinatal mental health services.

💫 Community perinatal mental health services are dedicated mental health services helping women during pregnancy and up to 1-2 years post-birth.

💫 I would love to speak with dads or non-birth partners for my thesis research whose partner is currently, or was previously, under the care of a community perinatal mental health service in England.

💫 What do I mean when I say "under the care"? This means when the woman with perinatal mental health difficulties received an assessment or assessment and treatment/therapy/support from a community perinatal mental health service.

💫 The study takes the form a confidential interview via Microsoft Teams. The questions are designed to explore how partner's experienced community perinatal mental health services (e.g. any interactions had, commenting on parts of the process). Even if partner's have not had much of an experience with the service or much involvement or interaction with professionals, I would like to hear from them.

💫 Partner's will not be asked to name services, professionals or say exactly where they are located. They have full control over what they choose to share.

💫 Recruiting NOW so check the information on the flyer and email me (Emily) on [email protected] if interested or with any questions.
