Could fluoxetine have made my periods go weird?

Have been on fluoxetine for 4 weeks, for PMS/PND. Normally periods are: 2 days very light/irregular bleeding / more brownish red mucus than blood (sorry TMI), followed by 5ish days proper bleeding. 4 days ago started my first period after going on the fluoxetine, had the first 2 days of light bleeding, then NOTHING. Have done pg test today in a panic but has come up negative. Any thoughts on what this could be?

Can't help on that particular drug, but same happened to me with citalopram. Even though it's supposed to increase bleeding. Dr said it was rubbish and must have just been stress, but it carried on for 4 months then I got pregnant so who knows?

Was the period with light bleeding only, on time? Only, fluoxetine can cause a little bit of light bleeding that is not actually a period.

Would add, it goes it goes away. Its only at the start of using the med.

Jangly, roughly on time but have been a bit irregular last few months so hard to predict exact dates! But definitely should have started period by now, so if that wasn't a period then I've definitely missed a period, which is more worrying! Now yoyoing between panicking a) I must be pg or b) I must not be ovulating at all - both of which terrifying prospects for someone who wants to have a 2nd DC at some point in future but NOT now!

I've had weird periods with fluoxetine too, although i'm not sure if its cos things are still settling down after having my ds one year ago

prozac made my cycle go weird as well. It settled after first couple of months.

Ive been on 20mg of Fluoxetine for a month or two and i have noticed my periods have came earlier than usual (by a few days), i dont even know the exact date anymore because of this, it was never this way, i feel like im coming on earlier and earlier every month, i do hope it sorts itself out, the length is the same and the bleeding so i dont know :)

I have been on flouxetine 2 a month now and got no bleeding but all symptoms, is this normal?
