Venlafexine

I was prescribed this today by my GP
I have taken the first tablet, within the hour I was violently sick, feel incredibly dizzy and just feel very, very strange.
Is this normal? Can’t carry on if so

Anyone got any experience with duloxetine? After a conversation with a different gp this has been mentioned- possibly a good fit for me as I also have fibromyalgia?

I know people get on well with duloxetine, but it was the worst one I have tried.

I also have fibromyalgia, but it didn't help with pain at all, and triggered me having a complete breakdown.

Withdrawing from it was absolutely awful - I've done cocodamol and tramadol withdrawal, but duloxetine was 100 times worse.
I'm not a fan!
