I was on fluoxetine capsules 20mg sort of alternate days (worked out at 50mg per week) and was completely stable
I asked for 10mg capsules so that I could have more control over reductions in near future (20mg too big- would end up going days without a capsule which I didnt want)
was told 10mg capsules too expensive but liquid prozac available.
I was happy with this as would have even more control with liquid and it's supposedly like for like.
But it honestly isn't- i feel unbelievably shit- weepy, depressed, horrible dreams and some physical/fluey/nausea/trembling/insomnia symptoms- I know this feeling- it's what i experience when i have a planned decrease- it's withdrawal
I've taken a wee bit more to try to mitigate how I feel but am working in the dark, don't feel any better at all
can anyone confirm that liquid prozac can be very different to the capsules?
the only other thing is that I have been ill over xmas (for the last 5 weeks!)- like we all have- and i kept putting it down to that- but the depression i feel couldnt be accounted for by an illness? i'm extremely weepy
