"Before You Know It" by John Bargh

"The Expectation Effect" by David Robson

Healing Beyond Pills and Potions" by Steve Bierman

"Lost Connections" and "Stolen Focus", both by Johann Hari

"The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk. More about the physical manifestations of mental distress but helps in understanding them and has suggestions of things that may help.

'Mad Girl' by Bryony Gordon. It's a memoir about her life with OCD. Really helped me feel not quite so weird.
