@NowWhatBipolar I’m sorry that you had that experience, it sounds awful. Please believe me when I say that they aren’t all like that.

@Roxy1988 are you getting much support following discharge?

I repeat Your supposed to distract a dementia patient like ‘oh let me just check for you - whilst we wait shall we have a cup of tea’, not lie to them outright. But obviously that only works if they genuinely have dementia.

Saying ‘your wrong, it’s tomorrow’ is gaslighting. Not only are you lieing about today. Your adding another lie about tommorow, and telling them they are wrong.
