Anyone want to join me for some self care?

Just felt I could do with a thread to keep me accountable as I try to put in place some habits for self care. I plan on doing some proactive things and also some lower key things. Anyone interested? We could maybe also borrow some ideas of one another :)

Hi. I've been thinking about this. Have you had any ideas?

I need to take time for some basics, even just eating properly and moisturising my skin.

Great to see you two!
My problems are primarily to do with panic (history of very bad panic attacks, and every now and then I get tingles and the hint they might come back). I also have trouble with rumination and indecisiveness. For a long time I've suspected I may have ADHD, I tend to do stuff compulsively as a way of procrastinating. I also tend to self medicate with alcohol (2 or 3 glasses of wine a night to "take the edge of").

From past experience I know that having too many goals makes me overwhelmed so I'm going to focus on a few simple ones to start with:

Eating: Three proper meals a day. When i don't eat enough my blood sugar drops and that makes my anxiety worse.

Moisturising: Really this includes other stuff like exfoliating, hair masks etc, but I think daily moisturising on my body and really taking time to moisturise my face "with care" will do a lot of good on a subconscious level.

Clothes clear out: I have lots of really old clothes that don't suit me or look good. Time to make space.* *

Phonelock: I just downloaded Flipd. I plan on hitting a goal of having my phone locked for 6 hours a day. This is huge for me as I am a phone addict. I use it as "a comforter". I use it to avoid having to deal with my emotions, but then a lot of what I read online depresses me. It becomes the solution but also part of the problem. I think not being able to just kill time and dull thoughts via my phone will free up mental space.* *
