DH is self harming

Any experience would be helpful.
DH is self harming, we have been to GP/hospital due to infections. He is seeing a counsellor, who wants to write to the GP suggesting a psychiatrist/OT. DH feels he might need to be sectioned, any one had anything similar?

Sorry just saw your update. Do you feel you can both wait until Saturday?

I am trying to keep him calm, but thought I was going to have to call the emergency number they gave, as I was not physically strong enough to stop him, it was really scary for what seemed like a long time, but probably wasn't in real time. He took a sleeping pill and seemed to settle. I am sure I can cope with one more night, the days seem easier to manage somehow.

Been there, but if bad tonight then calling 999 paramedics may be the way to go. To assess him.
You don't want to risk injury yourself accidentally

Are your dc living with you?
Can a relative come and stay?
Be very honest when they call Saturday

DD is here, but trying to keep her away from the coal face.
My sister has offered to come if I need her, but DH is so ashamed it would add more stress.

The crisis team are coming to the house, thank goodness.

Please tell your sister.
Have her come for you
