Wishing I could have a 'do over' with my life

Hello everyone

I was wondering if this is a normal trait as it is something I have always done but recently become obsessive with.
I seem to focus on all the situations I have been in in the past where I have embarrassed myself whether said or done something silly, been drunk and made an arse of myself or generally been dramatic in anyway. I especially remind myself of how I was as a teenager and wish I could turn the clock back (I am now in my 30's). It sounds ridiculous to say this but it make me hate who I am and my character.
Does anyone else do this?

yes a little bit, but just wanting to comment that you can "do over".
tomorrow is a new day and you can step forward with a wiser perspective and start anything you want fresh.

I do this daily. For both cringe worthy embarrassing mistakes, and all my life decisions in general. I also play a game with myself, what one event would I change if I could or what's the one thing I would undo. It's a bad habit but I can't shake it.

Read a book that helped me with this recently, it's called The happiness trap might be worth a look for you too.
We don't get yesterday, but there is always here and now and tomorrow :)
