Sertraline - day 1 - feeling awful

Hi,

Took my first 50mg tablet at 10pm tonight. Woke up at 3am with headaches, diarrhoea, feel sick as dog, immense thirst and can't get back to sleep. Feel absolutely horrendous. Don't think I'll be taking it again :(

I got prescribed this today. GP said it will take two weeks to see a difference. Am on half term next week so going away for a few days, hoping these really do help me feel better soon. It's so good to read that they're working for the majority.

How long have most of you been on the medication for?

Just started on day 2.
