Hi OP, I had pretty nasty PND last year after the birth on my first DC. I was on sertraline for just over a year and found it very useful - no side effects that I noticed and a lot better than citalopram which I’d been on a few years prior. Hopefully it works for you, if you decide to take it Flowers

I started on sertraline when my dd was 5 months old. i’d previously been on fluoxetine (before
pregnancy) but as i was bf still
the dr
prescribed sertraline.

I started taking 50mg of sertraline after both of my children were born (13yrs and 10yrs), and I am still on it now (small break in between). I had severe anxiety/PND.
I found it worked very quickly each time, and I was fortunate to experience no side effects.
Sending big hugs your way.
