I’m really really struggling right now, I just want to shake myself better or get rid of all of this.

I don’t know enough about mental health issues to fully understand what you mean but it does sound like talking this through with a professional might be useful if only to support you to understand where you are at the moment with regards to your MH and stress symptoms.

Thank you, I am trying to work on it.
I just want to feel normal again! This last 6 weeks I’ve just been slipping and slipping and now it feels like I’m completely stuck.
I feel a bit tired at the moment and have to be up for 7 so I am going to go and try to get some sleep as I really need to sleep when I can right now, tomorrow night will come and I will inevitably be unable to sleep again, I just know it.
Thank you for your replies and to anyone who has taken the time to reply, I really appreciate it.

How are you doing OP?

Coldorangejuice · 16/11/2021 21:05

I’ve asked for help today. I know that something might not be quite right.

Hope you get some help.

Well done op. The fact that you haven't slept for weeks and have to sleep with a hammer does sound like you're very distressed. Please let them help you x

I am going to try, I just don’t know what’s going on with me. It’s making me question all sorts of things. I called the Samaritans last night as I just needed to be talking to someone. I asked them whether the thoughts I was having were normal thoughts and they said that no they are not normal thoughts and it’s making me question other things now like when I saw a drone watching me outside my living room window. I KNOW I saw it but I know it sounds strange with the other things I’m thinking. I know it would be strange for there to be a drone there as my garden backs onto another garden with a wall inbetween but my living room window is at the end of a garden alley if that makes sense with no access to the front of the street. I KNOW I saw a drone there though because when I caught it there it whizzed of really quickly because I’d caught it!

I'm so pleased you have been in touch with services for help. I don't want to over simplify what's going on at all, but do you think a sleeping tablet could help? You could ask your GP? Sleep deprivation makes everything worse. I feel for you.

I have some and will try them tomorrow if I don’t sleep well tonight
