I found it very useful - I don't practice on a daily basis any more but what I learnt from it I still use.

The best thing about it for me was realising I didn't have to resolve all issues - before it I felt like my mind was always battling against itself - now I'm able to just accept most things as they are. I'd say that rather than living most of my life at a 7 anxiety level I'm now living it at a 3/4. Not to say it can't zoom up to 10 sometimes but the base level is lower.

It took me a while to know it was "working" - the first time I realised it was once when I was going on a shopping trip with DD. That morning I'd woken up feeling somehow "odd" and rather than going into panic mode I just noted "Oh I feel a bit odd this morning". At the end of the shopping trip I realised I'd had a fun time and hadn't even thought about it. That was a revelation.

So I'd recommend people try it but also have realistic expectations - it's not going to instantly turn you into some blissed out hippy - it will take time to understand "the point" and for it impact your life.

Good luck!
