What do you take for helping you sleep?

GP gave me zopiclone (5 tablets) just to see how I got on with them in the hope I could have a few nights of improved sleep and make me feel a bit better. They didn’t seem to do anything but was a low dose.
I’ve tried the OTC sleep tablets like Boots Sleepeaze etc which also didn’t do anything.
Is there something you have had before that actually works?
I don’t take them every night, but need them occasionally to allow me to re charge.

No caffeine after 3pm and a 5htp and zinc and magnesium tablet an hour before bed seems to be working for me. It can give you some very vivid dreams for the first week but that wears off. I use a sleep tracker and was only getting around 55 points a night but now average around 85. Its also improved my mood in general, not sure if that's down to the 5htp or just the better quality of sleep

Magnesium spray on the soles of my feet each night. Only been using it around 4 weeks but works wonders.

Valerian tablets (I take a brand called Valdrian) can work quite well. I take three just before bedtime.

Another vote for Kirkland sleep aid. Switch from Amazon UK to US site and you can order that way.

cbd oil has really helped me. Within 20 minutes I'm dead to the world and have a really lovely deep sleep

Where are you all buying your phenergan from? I used to take it but can't get hold of it at the moment (and haven't been able to for a few months).

Same, I was prescribed zopiclone but I felt awful the next day plus I woke with a terrible taste. CBD really helps.

There is a really good site called leafie which publishes lots of helpful info on CBD I would suggest reading up on if you're new to it.
