Can missing 4 days of Citalopram cause withdrawal symptoms?

Just that really. Forgot to order my prescription so that plus the bank holiday weekend here in England means I'm on day 4 without (I'm on 20mg). Picking my prescription up today but yesterday and today I feel off - tired, headachy, bit spaced out, also keep clearing my throat but not actually coughing which is something I do when I'm anxious. Could missing 4 days cause these symptoms?

Yes, can definitely cause withdrawal symptoms.

The throat clearing is one of my DH’s symptoms. Just get your prescription as soon as you can.

Absolutely, yes.

"The biological half-life of a drug is the time it takes for the pharmacologic activity to move through your body. For Citalopram (Celexa), that’s 35 hours, so patients who have been taking the prescription for more than four weeks could start feeling the effects of withdrawal as soon as 35 hours after taking their last dose."

For some yes. My friend feels withdrawal almost immediately. I don’t.

Thanks everyone. I've missed the odd one before but never 4 days in a row!
