Hello - I am feeling mildly miserable - if there is such a thing, and want to help myself before going to the GP about it. DD is 2 months old, DS is nearly 3 and I am just feeling lethargic and like there is no point to any of it. Having a particulary bad morning today so am really not that bad that i want to start on drugs. Anyway I was looking at Rubarbs self help list which I thought was great and I wondered what anyone has taken in the way of supplements that has made a difference.

Hi, I can really sympathise with you as I was the same last year when my daughter was born and my son was only just 2yrs. I know its really easy to dismiss diet but make sure its really good with decent breakfast lunch and dinner with loads of fruit veg and water, when you feel extra down/cross/panicky the best thing is Rescue Remedy spray it saved me many a time. Yoga is great for getting some head space time if you've got the energy in the evening. If it gets worse Ive been told st johns wort is very effective as an anti deppressant but the most helpful thing to remember is it will pass. It doesnt feel like it sometimes but Im sat here now really enjoying my children empathising with you and remembering how bad I felt last year. I Hope you feel better soon x
