This might sound corny but I'd love to know what helps you if you suffer from anxiety. I don't mean therapy or medication etc just really simple things like games
or other distractions?

Thanks @HPFA

Writing fan fiction is a good one!

Haven't tried ACT but got a bit fed up with CBT after many years. I'm currently seeing a therapist who specialises in CPTSD.

Knitting and gardening are my go-to anxiety aids.

Also healthy eating (or at least avoiding crap) and - if anxiety allows- getting enough good quality sleep.

I appreciate sleep might be a tricky one!

Dog walking too, I use borrow my doggy :)

I've just bought these cards from The Works. There are some really helpful techniques in there.

The cards look good @Seasthedaytoday I have read so many self help books but when I'm feeling anxious I just want something I can look at quickly without overthinking it

There pack of cards with ideas on each one. I think the idea is that you can carry them around with you and pull one out when you need to. Itaso comes with a book. It was £6 from The Works xx
