First time poster so please be kind. Needing some advice and don't know where else to turn.
For years (10+), I have experienced symptoms of anxiety and recently have been experiencing anxiety/panic attacks. A few years ago I went to the GP wanting support and was given apps and breathing exercises. I felt like I was a hindrance for taking GP time because of feeling anxious among other things as there was no "physical" illness. Since then my symptoms have got worse and I want to go back to the GP to hopefully get some medication to try and help this but I don't know what to expect which isn't helping.
Any advice?
