She isn't much different in age to me as mum had me late in life. She has 3 kids, the youngest being 3 and she's v ill with pancreatitis (sp?) It's her 3rd bout caused by drinking. I spoke to my brother last night and he sounded desperate
I'm going to visit her this afternoon. I just hope she'll get some urgent help. She said in hospital that she can't imagine never drinking again even after going through this agony. That's how strong the hold is over her. She's such a beautiful person, inside and out. I can't believe she's suffering so and feel so frustrated.
