I'm not sure where to post this, but I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who sent messages to me when I was unwell. I was so touched at the kindness of mumsnetters. Thank you.

Thank you especially to DumbledoresGirl who co-ordinated flowers etc and kept you updated with news.

I'm sure you will want to know what happened so I will give the basic outline: In layman's terms, I had a nervous breakdown in July and spent two months in hospital and a further month living with a friend before coming home last weekend. I am still not fully well, but I am in recovery now.

Thank you once again for your support.

I would like to change my mn name. Any suggestions?

I wondered where you had gone Glad you're back and in recovery

I like Perdita too

WotzyWhitchyWoo · 12/10/2007 22:43

Didn't know about all that, I am glad you had support.

Nice to see you back

naswm · 13/10/2007 11:04

thank you for all the nice messages and name suggestions.

I loved phoenix and perdita - but they are already in use

There are lots of other good ones here so I will have a think about them and hope to decide later

scottishmummy - I dont have any of those things in place. The NHS let me down badly and all the treatment I have had has been private and has cost us a small fortune.

Thanks again

Naswm, have you tried something a bit longer like PhoenixRising? Sometimes that works. I have never seen a Phoenix or a Perdita or anything remotely like those names on MN

BandofMutantMonsters · 13/10/2007 11:27

PheonixRising is lovely, try it now!!!!

ShinyHappyPurpleSeveredHeads · 13/10/2007 11:34

NASWM so glad to see you back I had no internet access when you were ill, but did find out of marybs. So good that you are on the road to recovery one step at a time.

naswm · 13/10/2007 17:17

PhoenixRising is a fab name - but it is 'already in use'. Just like all the other names that have been suggested on here. So either someone has been trying them out before me and not realising that then means that I cannot then choose it - or someone is deliberately stopping me from choosing the suggested names?
