Honestly not depressed but sometimes when I look at my sons (age 1) and I feel like killing myself because they deserve better and I couldn't imagine a life without them.

OP they would be devastated without you!! I can guarantee you they absolutely love you!!

Sometimes I think I love my kids so much I would walk into a house on fire without doubt. Then I remember if I called them into a house on fire, they would come to be with me!

Sometimes you think you may not be doing a great job, but I'm 99.999999999% sure that's not the case! I personally had some troubles with my youngest a few months ago and was shouting too much..... eventually kind of broke down and DH had to give me a day off. Blush maybe you need one as well? Just an afternoon eating chocolate and watching netflix in bed Thanks

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources.

You can also go to the Samaritans website, or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We're going to move this to our Mental Health topic now.

Take care. Flowers
