A couple of people have said that they think that i am depressed, i am not sure sometimes i think they are right but other times i am not sure, can sadness and stuff seem like depression?

Hi, I am new as you can see, I have just seen this thread and it is quite appropriate for me at this present time. I am 5 1/2 months pregnant and seriously depressed. I cannot cope with daily life and although I have a partner, I wonder how much longer he can put up with me! The pregnancy wasnt planned and isnt the right time, now I feel that I have nothing in my life at the moment execept my crap job and my partner and family. My partner spends most of his time on the net and doesnt want to do much with me anymore, refuses to have sex which makes me feel very unattractive. I wont go on but my point is that it seems that depression is far more common than we know and is far more complex than just a bit od=f sadness, for me I feel like I am in black hole trying to escape..
