Hi there Mums!

I hope you are all safe and well and adjusting to these strange times. I just wanted to let you know about Kooth.com, a free, safe, mental health and well-being service, commissioned by Haringey County Council, to support children and young people (between 11 and 25) living in Haringey.

We know that for many people this is an incredibly challenging time and unfortunately, national statistics for mental ill health in young people is increasing as a consequence of Covid-19 closures and isolation. Sad

If you think that your child could benefit from this service, and would like to know more, I will be facilitating two virtual Kooth Parent Training sessions via Zoom. Please find the details for these sessions below.

Interested to find out more from these parent training sessions as I work with young people in a Kooth funded area and I hear nothing good about it.

Numerous reports of either no reply from the counsellors or just several auto messages which are not linked to the issues they have described. There are forums however submissions don’t ever seem to be published and there’s nothing to get involved in.

Great idea in principle however my young people have been very unimpressed.
