Bloody fucking video calls

Anyone else dread them? obviously I don't have to join them but it feels rude to effectively not show up to meet someone (lock down equivalent)

I'm already suicidal and in a mess due to MH issues and not coping with trying to exist/work/parent atm.

Looming calls cast a shadow over my days. I just don't want to be seen or have heat everyone talking over one another or to have everyone looking at me if I speak.

I feel the same way about group WA chats most of the time but this is 10times worse. My introverted side is so very clear !

I've got a job using video all day (and was the same pre covid) so I'm well used to it - I just hate it socially.

Look after your MH first, if they are social chats and you don’t want to join them, don’t bother.

Stay authentic and do what you feel you need to do to stay happy, not what you should do, because everyone else is doing it!

Put yourself first, don’t put yourself under anymore stress and strain.

Stay healthy and safe😊
