Love my kids, but don't really like the way things are going at the moment. Not sure on DP either anymore.

Saturday night midnight ... kids just got to sleep - being arses agin.

14 month old wont leave me alone. Nevr have any time fpr DP.

Kids sleep in our bed.

Cant remember the last time we had sex.

Or even cuddled.

Constant argueing. What do the neighbours think.

Dont wnat to be this sort of family. We have super happy times too - but lately its just too much.

I feel like walking out for a day or two.

You know you may think this is daft, but I think alot of stuff like this is because of sleep deprivation.
My dh and I were having seriously bad patches when ds was totally annoying and wouldn't sleep, go to sleep, only in with us etc etc. Once the kid started to stay more in his own bed, we seemed to have more intimacy and conversation and suddenly it wasn't just about the children anymore.
Just being able to converse without interruption makes you see what you loved in your partner again. (going on abit, sorry) Do know what you mean though.

aw kits, sorry you're feeling like this. I've been there myself recently, but have been suffering from AND/PND and it's getting better now I'm on meds.

Can really empathise with wanting to get away from it all......

Can you talk to your GP about this, maybe you need some help?

I mean was thinking 'doctors' but if the kids just went to bed there wouldnt be a problem, just dont have the energy to do anything about it y'know ?

agree that whatever you're feeling will be made worse by sleep deprivation.

Hang on in there. It can get better and there'll be more of the happy times.

Wanted to answer this but I'm not sure what to suggest in practical terms except sod what the neighbours think, they're probably running a brothel/secret police stating out the house opposite/swingers/etc, and not worried about what you're up to. (The way you've listed the kids sleeping in your bed sounds like you're not completely happy with the situation - is there an alternative?)

I think you need to be firm with the kids and get them sleeping in their own beds and at a reasonable time so you and DP have some time together in the evening.

I know how stressed out I feel when my DS won;t go to bed, but that's only once in a blue moon thankfully.

TBH I think this is why I'm so strict with dd now aged 8.5 months. She is in bed for 7 whether she's acting tired or not. So far it's working (not all the time - not perfect child - who's is?)
With ds our first baby, we were just led by him, letting him fall asleep on sofa and carrying him up later (BIG MISTAKE)
So remembering our experiences, have PUT FOOT DOWN HARD! XX
