Sertraline - change of manufacturer

Has anyone got any experience of changing the manufacturer of Sertraline? I’ve been taking 50mg for a few years and it’s been amazing for anxiety.
Now my prescription has come back with different pills - still 50mg- made by Ranbaxy (previously were TEVA). I’m worried they might be less effective/ have side effects?

I’ve had different brands of sertaline. Lately the chemist seems to give me a different brand each month and I’ve never had any problems/side effects with them.

Don't worry is the same drug in a different colour box, I've ha loads of different "brands" their were no better or worse than each other.

Been on mine for 6 months now and every single time I have got a prescription mine have been a different brand. But I haven't noticed any difference in taking them, literally just the packaging.

I've taken lots of different brands. I've never noticed any difference.

They are all tested to be the same drug in the same amount so any differences are minute, barring any reactions to colourings, etc. Some of them are even made in the same factory so exactly the same. I think there is a PL number somewhere on the box and it would be the same if that was the case

Ok thanks everyone- I feel much better about them now!

Sorry to say that I haven't had a good experience of switching brands. Just came on here to see if anyone else was having issues with it. I got given Crescent instead of Aurobindo and 2 weeks in I feel dreadful - racing heart and waking in the night. Apparently there are supply issues with my regular brand Sad

This happened to me and 12 mths on cant get an even footing - can anyone compare teva to other brands? All I have here and I tried fluoxetine and still trying to recover from that horrendous experience and it was only e weeks I was on them..I found the lustral ones very potent and gave up as couldn't face waiting for it to settle. Made some very bad decisions on that. ACCORD were brilliant but cant get them anywhere x
