I’ve recently joined a new doctors surgery and told them I’m pregnant and I was taking 10mg of mirtazapine.
I was immediately told to stop my dose, no cutting down slowly no nothing even after telling him I’ve tried several times to come off even slowly and struggled (I used to be on a higher does a year ago.
I don’t know what I’m posting this for but I’m at day 4 and I’m not sleeping and if I am I’m waking up at 2-3am and wanting it to be morning 😫 I’m exhausted, any tips? Or do I just need to ride it out, I’m a working mum with a 5 year old so have no time to be tired 😂

Oh man. Mirtazapine withdrawal is horrible and then telling you not to taper off it it is really shit. Of course you can taper off it. Snap the pill in half for a week and then stop. When I stopped it, I was battling a really upset stomach and sleeplessness I'm afraid.
