Can anyone help me with feeling full of fear and unable to sleep at night. I can't concentrate to focus on what's wrong

Sorry OP, no useful advice but so sorry that you are feeling fearful. Worth talking to your GP or local MH support group. My partner had something similar on occasions - 'normal' levels of anxiety would increase to paranoia. Apparently it was a 'fight or flight' response from the hippocampus. He managed to control it to an extent with CBT & breathing exercises but it was really tough when it was in full flow. Do hope you are able to find a way through. {flowers]

No helpful suggestions other than a visit to your GP

It's OP here. Feeling the same this am.

Can you get an appointment with your GP? Or phone a local MH organisation? Do get help OP - your anxiety about the fear plus a lack of sleep will be likely to escalate the problem otherwise. Take care.

I think I am mentally and physically exhausted .

I'm sure you are. Lack of sleep is a form of torture. Do you have any support IRL? Anyone you can talk to?

I am feeling really fearful overnight and in the mornings. I am also really tired. I am anxious about work but it's more than worry if that makes sense. It's like fear or terror.

It sounds as though you’re having an anxiety attack OP. There may be an obvious trigger that springs to mind or it may take a bit of therapy to work through. Either way go and talk to your GP tomorrow who will more than likely refer you for some CBT.
It feel so horrible but you will overcome it with the right help.

Flowers for you OP.

I am having , or have had, CBT. But I am tired and work is stressing me.
I hope I can sleep tonight. I was so tired at work today I felt it was hard to concentrate.

You poor thing. You will be absolutely exhausted. Can you take a couple of days off work to take that worry out of the equation and then book in to see your GP? Just knowing you don’t have to deal with work after another sleepless night may help you to relax a bit overnight until you can seek some support.
