Running out of ideas...

I started taking anti depressants due to anxiety. Over the past year I have tried Citalopram (too groggy/lethargic), mirtazapine (weight gain plus puts me in a foul mood, I hate everyone), Sertraline (terrible insomnia and restless legs) and Venlafaxine (again, terrible insomnia). I am going back to the doctor on Thursday, really hoping she can suggest an alternative. I am becoming so despondent, what started as anxiety has spiralled into depression. I have lost all hope. Anyone got a similar story with a positive ending??

Venlafaxine combined with Quetiapine has sorted me out

I've been on various AD's, AP's and mood stabilisers over the past 14 years. When I started TTC I was put on Amitripiline 50mg and I've stayed on it (actually reduced to 25mg) and been stable for four years now.

The problem is different drugs affect everyone differently.

Flouxitine works for me.

I'm also on venlafaxine with Quetiapine and it's the best combo I've been on, though the dosages still need some work

Thanks for your replies, gives me hope that there are still options available
