I am a recently single parent but ever since DD was born i have struggled with anxiety and sad feelings in the evenings and night. I am trying to get counselling at the moment as i think its about time i dealt with some of my issues over upset about DD (she has quite complex medical needs). Anyway, my point is, I am out of beta blockers and the dr seems intent on getting me on prozac which i don't want partly cos i'm scared i'll gain weight but also cos i'm generally happy and relaxed enough in the day its just the nights i'm bad. So don't want anything that has to be prescribed but has anyone used kalms or anything similar? Ibtake DD's medised most nights atm cos i like the feeling that i know i will sleep. Thing is, it gives a bit of a hangover!

snowonder, any changes for you? I've taken them since sat. Have still had to resort to medised last night so have taken two tonight and i do feel tired(tho not relaxed but thats due to DD screaming every time i lie her down, she's been very poorly last week bless her.
