Some of you may have seen my thread in the Body and Soul/relationships section. I came off of Sertraline in March I was doing brilliantly well. I was finding relief in exercise. Well on Friday my husband went away on a trip to New Zealand for two weeks, that I was never entirely happy about. I started to become very anxious running up to the trip and then BOOM as soon as I dropped him off at the train station my mind completely flipped. It was as if dropping him off had flipped an anxiety switch. I had huge panic attacks all weekend. Tremors, cold, tingling lips, heart palpitations, crying and basically not knowing what I was doing.

Has anyone else ever had this where they have felt absolutely fine and then it suddenly hits you?

I have been to see my GP this morning who has given me Diazepam to get me through the next couple of days. My husband is so worried about me he is flying back as soon as possible, which I feel wholly guilty about. I had a bad episode after we had our first child and he was the only person who could calm me down then.
