Feelings of claustrophobia

I've always had anxiety problems, but over the last year I've felt intense feelings of claustrophia in certain situations. The worst is if I'm in a big, crowded room sitting down for a meeting or conference. I worry I can't get out of the room, or what to do if I need the toilet. I feel panicky and short of breath and just trapped. I always used to be fine on trains, but now I worry going through tunnels, or when it's crowded and I'm packed in.

I also feel panicked during sex, as if it's a situation I can't get outof/stop (I know I can and my partner would stop), so it's irrational. I don't know what has started this but it's becoming a big problem. Does anyone have any advice or know what I can do about this?
