Am going through a real down patch and im not coping so well.

I need a bath and my teeth hurt from not brushing :(

My bedroom floor is covered in dirty washing and my kitchen needs doing.

I'm going to bed now but I plan to TRY and tackle some of this tomorrow.

If anyone could help I would be grateful x

Sorry I should have explained better.

Last time my house was a tip some lovely MNers talked me through it and I achieved so much.

I've slipped again but need to make some improvement

Hello

Sorry I missed your post in the night,

Did you get some sleep?

Do you have children or anything else you’re responsible for today?

Witchesbritches · 07/11/2018 07:53

I saw the ‘mama’ just not sure if you have them at home today.

Hello, they're at school now.

I'm sat looking at the mess getting stressed. Going to tackle the living room first

Hi, I'll give you a bit of a hand hold, I know how you feel as when my mh has been very bad it's the house that's suffered & then makes me worse.

Yy to having a go at your living room, if you can get in there sorted you'll have a nice place to escape to when you need a break from sorting the rest.

Do you like lists? I get satisfaction from 'ticking things off' so do lists when I have a lot that needs doing. They can seem daunting before I start but I usually find I can get through them quite quickly & it keeps me motivated.

Take lots of little breaks, away from the area you're doing, so you can look around when you go back in & see what you've done so far.

Hi lovey
I would always start with brushing your teeth!
Can you break it down a bit? Like Bernards suggests, make a list? So, rather than "sort out living room" make it "pick up dirty clothes, put in washing machine"
