I'm doing all I can to combat this.

Gone up to 100mg of Sertraline which has made me a bit wobbly but they can make you feel. Worse before they make you feel better.

Trying to make lifestyle changes too with diet etc.

Does anyone worry if people don't reply on WhatsApp or Facebook etc? Take it personally?

I know the answer is to stay away as much as possible but I also want to learn to cope with it.

Hi there,

I suffer badly with paranoia as well, also on 100mg sertraline. How long have you been on that dose? I've found after about 2-3 weeks it's still there, but it has improved.

The only thing that has helped me is my medication. I have tried other things such as mindfulness, rationalising my thoughts but to no avail. I still have paranoia but not as badly.

I haven’t in the past, but it is increasingly creeping in. I know rationally it is my own body issues and how I feel about myself but I am starting to develop a social phobia based on feeling people are judging and laughing at me.

I've also felt that people were judging me, DarkDarkNight but it's lessened as the AD's kicked in and as I've got older- I don't really care what other people think of me anymore! Grin

Feathermucker I've come off all social media as I've found it's not helpful for self-esteem, there'll always be someone who seems to be having a better time than you, or is ignoring you (even if they don't mean to).

The happiest people I know are those who try to enjoy their own lives and don't think too much about what other people are doing.
