Anyone else unable to stop worrying about adult children?

I always thought when my children became old enough to stand on their own feet the worry nature of parenting would slowly melt away and I would be able to get a bit of life back. In fact I would say I worry more when my daughter left for Uni than I did when she was at high-school.

I literally have trouble sleeping about what if....

I can also go days barely eating if she is having a rough time. My husband says this is normal but other parents I know don't seem to worry like I do?
