Hi,

I have thought about setting up a website that offers 1 to 1 chat with users about mental health, i appreciate that the people who are on the website end of the chat is not qualified but my idea simply isnt to get qualified people involved but people who have had similar issues and are just a person and not someone to fear to talk to, i simply dont think the current system works as how do you come to someones level without being there yourself and alls the qualified people are just trained to say its ok dont worry, but can they relate? If anyone is intrested in setting up such a website and people who have reached the otherside of mental health issues are prepared to help others then let me know and lets get the ball rolling as every second we count there is someone wanting to take there own life.

Change isnt accomplished by goverments but is accomplished by people seeking change we simply cant let trained but none sufferers to deal with the biggest threat to human existance anymore.

And to add to my post for those people who are thinking about taking their own life please remember this, The road to heaven is very dark, you may think that its your only option but please take each day as a new step in life, ofcourse you think about your loved ones but take a minute to think about yourself, because when you do it you become a statistic you have let the world win, if you dont then you are a survivor.

If your ancestors done what you are thinking about doing then you simply wouldnt be here, your life as an existance comes before debt, career, money and politics, its completely priceless so you simply should not give in to these things instead consider yourself a survivor and show the world that mental health is a illness.

Please do not give up hope, the fact your reading this is a sign that you are becoming a survivor, but we really need people like you to help others see the other side and try to reduce suicides until there is none at all, there is simply no way this world can say that there is a x% of suicides per year, this should simply be none.

And remember its not your fault, its not anyones fault of who ever ends there life, its simply because help is not seeked, because they wont be belevied or as some call it "a cry for help", people who think that the world see it as a cry for help simply take there own lives just to show everyone that they meant it, unfortunately there is no turning back and the only way of turning this around is to become a survivor.

Mental health is an epidemic and everyone is very different, but the world needs you to change this, you are the vaccine, you are the pill and you now have a purpose.

Hi Kevin. I applaud your motives and fervour. May I gently suggest that you seek support yourself before trying to help others.
I know your heart is in the right place and I agree that mental health issues and suicide are really important..
You’ve got to look after you before you can help anyone else.

I must also state that i am not on the otherside of my issues, 2 weeks ago my son connor was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma, not only this but was diagnosed with stage 3 of the disease, but i consiser myself as a survivor because i had thoughts of ending my life to simply not go through the pain of treatment of my son, but i survived as tge only thing i want is for my son to survive this condition and ending my life will cause him more pain but even more the fact he has lost his father, and this would simply be unfair. I do get the thoughts daily but i tell them to go away and stand up to myself and say i am gona help others in the same situation. So please stand up to yourself and help the world.

Hi puffycat,

I simply am that person that cant or is to scared to seek help, i do appreciate where your coming from but where is the help? Do you think that any of the proffesionals have the same experiance to simply come to my level? Yes i do agree with your comments but i think for some or every person who has issues regarding mental health will understand where im coming from here. Alls you have done is added doubt to my post, but please remember in the nicest possible way that mental health isnt just of importance, its simply ignored.

I just hope that this post has atleast saved 1 persons life, someones mother, daughter, father or son, as taking your own life isnt a choice, we simply do not choose to end our own life if we do, its a "Mental Illness".

Nice to read your posts. I am currently feeling quite triggered by three high profile suicides this week, all by hanging.
