I suffer with a personality disorder which doesn’t help.
I’m also a uni student, and a mother.
I get two days off and can’t physcially function on those two days. Today is day two, I have a washing pile up to my neck. Mountain of washing up. Study to do.
My fridge is practically empty because I can’t bring myself to go to a super market.
My dogs not had a walk in two days.
I’m not coping at all. I can’t get out of this episode.
Any coping mechanisms to get out of this woe is me pit?

I'm so sorry that you're going through this, it sounds really tough for you.

Do you have any family that might be able to help you out maybe for one of those two days? Anyone that maybe knows what you're dealing with. Even if someone just came over, and chatted to you while they folded some laundry and you did the washing up. Once you have made a start on these things that are getting you down, you could feel like you've made progress and think yourself more able to tackle studying/uni work.

Could you maybe do a food shop online and get it delivered to the house, so that you don't have to leave? I would only suggest this for the short-term while you feel less overwhelmed at home.

Also, just a thought, uni is sometimes a really good place to get help with mental illness, as they provide you with free services for counselling/someone to talk to. You can get extensions on your uni work and mentors that can give you tips on how to manage.

I hope that this helps you!
