Worried my sertraline dose is too high?

Hi there,

I'm on day 19 of taking sertraline for depression/suicidal thoughts. I was on 50mg for the first two weeks and instructed to double to 100mg after those 2 weeks.

After about a week and a half of side effects (nausea, loss of appetite, jaw clenching) they passed and I really started to notice a difference. I felt lighter, more energised and motivated. I then started the new dose on Thursday evening and things have deteriorated again. I have the worst restlessness - I spend all night fidgeting, moving my legs about and never seem to fall into a deep sleep, waking very early in the morning. I am much more anxious but this could be due to lack of sleep! I am back to feeling low, paranoid, irritable, lack of motivation to do things.

I'm trying to be patient and stick with it in the hope that this will wear off but concerned that maybe the dose is too high for me and it's having the opposite effect. Any thoughts/experiences much appreciated?
