Was it worth it and is the report detailed?

I paid for DD to have one after five years of no help from the NHS. A GP friend suggested it as a good way of identifying a therapy that might help. Psychiatrist was the first person she felt got her but his recommendation was that he sees her every month at a cost of £195 a session. It’s breaking me financially but I’m grateful she’s still alive ☹️

They're just a private mental health company so the quality will very much depend on the individual you see. Maybe worth trying to find someone who specialises in what you need?

My GP friend said it was a good way of finding out what DD needed, rather than trial and error. I resent paying but was left with no choice after two suicide attempts weren’t enough for her to be offered anything except phone counselling. Good luck.
