Sertraline

Hi people. Looking for advise. Im on day 2 of taking 50mg sertraline, yesterday i had diarrhea and today too. Felt a bit sick yesterday but only for a couple of hours. I seem to be clenching my jaw too. Anyboby had this and give me some positive experiences.

Hey guys. How is everyone feeling today? Im not bad, i felt a bit sick this morning then been ok rest of day. Not much energy or appetite but i have managed to have a cereal bar, a biscuit and some chips today which is brill. Hope everyone is doing ok, thinking of you all

Hey everyone. Im on day 7 now. My side effects semed to have gone last couple of days apart from still not much appetite. Hope this continues. Stay strong everyone

It may be that you were eating more because you were feeling anxious and depressed and now the ADs are helping with that.

It might also be because Serontonin is an “upper”

Like DaisyRaine says unfortunately sometimes things do go wrong, it must be difficult to distinguish between the actual side effects & the dangerous seratonin syndrome DaisyRaine?But well done mummyvicki13.... hopefully your appetite will come back after this shock to the system with the sertraline . Really pleased for you

I hope I didn’t cause you any worry OP just wanted to check you did not get poorly. But sounds like the side effects are settling and they are working for you 😊

Hey Daisy. You didnt worry me i know sometimes they dont work. I tried a different one a few months ago and it made me violently ill so stopped taking them. These side effects have been mild.

Day 9 and bit of a bad day feeling a bit sick and very anxious. I had a coffee for the first time in 2 weeks so i dont think that helped and had a stressful meeting that probably didnt help either. Hope everyone else is doing good.

Hey guys. Day 12 for me. Having a bad day and a bad night last night. Little one was sick and this sent me deep into my anxiety, now have the runs and dont dare eat anything coz i dont want them worse. Hope everyone else is doing good

Although I do sometimes get the runs every now & then. How are the side effects feeling ? Apart from the runs?
