Has anyone had Dialectical behaviour therapy and who is happy to talk to me about it please?

I hadn't heard about it until today. Bit apprehensive.

Long story short - I was put forward for DBT at a clinic when I was diagnosed with BPD then they realised I was having a psychotic episode so referred me back to the cmht to treat it.

Now my diagnosis is Recurrent major depressive disorder with psychosis & also BPD 'traits'.

I recently attended a 2 day therapy group & this included some DBT techniques.

DBT is the treatment for BPD / EUPD basically.

At the therapy group were a mixture of people including anxiety sufferers.

The DBT techniques included learning how to deal with other people and conflict, also how to deal with a mental health crisis.
We also did some Mindfulness which I am rubbish at.

Thank you

I guess I'll find out more this week.
