Just that really. Not much time to post, had emergency gp appt this morning who actioned crisis team immediately (who it has to be said were reluctant- gp was brilliant)
Ds has long history of depression and been on meds for 2 years. He told me last night that he went to kill himself weds night. I had no clue. A tiny thing tipped him over the edge. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm worried about leaving him alone. He's going to his boyfriends house this evening as it's his (the bf) birthday. I just hope he can keep him safe. My poor baby Sad

He told the Gp the urge to kill himself is always there, it never goes away and now it's at a peak. Apparently the crisis team will visit tomorrow.

Sorry to hear your DS is feeling so depressed Sad It is good news about the referral, I hope the crisis team are helpful.

Young Minds have a parents' helpline and online information for parents:

Check them out as they might be helpful.

Also make sure your DS has the phone numbers for the Samaritans and CALM, maybe even save them in his phone for him, and encourage him to call one of the numbers if the suicidal feelings get very strong.
