Just found out my sister has cancer

and on the day my late sister who died of cancer would've been celebrating her birthday.

I haven't spoken to her yet as she left a message with dh last night and was very upset. I rang this morning but she was having a lie down. I just feel numb. I know this happens to a lot of people and has already touched our family but it just seems as if you're the only one right now. You feel totally selfish in your grief.

It's cervical cancer. she has to go to another hospital to see how far it's spread.

I'm really angry as is she. She had treatment years ago, had to have smears every 6 months then yearly then they made it 3 years. I wish I could smack someone for this right now.
