Hi. I started on Citalopram 10mg about 3 months ago for depression. I started going all wobbly and feeling really awful three weeks ago. Yesterday., I saw my gp who increased the dose to 20mg. I hope this will help. Has anyone had similar experiences with this ad? Thank you and have a nice week end

i started on 20 back in june, then went to 30 in august and 40 in october, i'm struggling again now - the 40 doesn't seem to be touching me now and i feel terrible - i've only had mild side affects though, such as yawning all the time and passing alot of wind, v embarrassing in lifts at this time of year. Am going to start going to a support group in jan and gp said if no better by after xmas will think of changing meds - sorry if this wasn't what you needed

Hope your gp sorts this out for you Tron and that the support group will help. I have had some similar side effects such as yawning and today I nearly fell on the bus, lost my balance .
i suppose it takes time to adjust and if like you, I don't see an improvement in Feb when I need to go back to the gp's, I 'll ask for a different kind of ad.
Take care of youself
