Many of you will know the problems DH and i have faced over the last 18 months and are still facing.
I have been on anti-depressants for over a year, 2 months ago i forgot to take a couple in a row, was feeling fine so still not taking them and coping! Dh goes back to court for sentancing in 2 weeks and i am still holding it all together, i am able to play with my kids properly and hold down a full time job and support DH and i am very very proud of myself so just needed to post it here as no one knows (or has suspected) that i have stopped taking the pills!!
Am tearful at times when i think of what might happen but i know that i will get through.

Yes you can, so long as you make sure you tell your GP/health professional that you've stopped taking the pills. Well done you for coping without them but doc will need to know in case your circumstances change.

Good for you PT. I have to add that when I was on ad's about 8 yrs ago I weaned myself off them after about 6 months and the doctor said 'Oh you will probably get depressed again'. But I diddn't so it can be done, well done for coping, but be kind to yourself and go back on them if you need to.

Hi PT, I know nothing of your history but it sounds like you're doing wonderfully well and deserve very many proud moments. Good for you!
