I have no idea who I am or how to be.

I've been off work since March and don't have a job anymore. I'm on olanzapine and citalopram which means I have put on three stone and my brain is foggy.

I bought a cross trainer and it's arrived today and I have no idea where to start with putting it together. I used to be the queen if self assembly. I'm now sitting here in tears because I have no idea who I am anymore, I'm fat, slow and unemployed and I can't see that improving anytime soon.

Not sure what I wanted from this post other than a whinge, sorry.

Big hugs, I can relate, I've been off work for 9 months, I'm stuck, putting on weight and I get flummoxed by things that would previously have been easy for me. I'm not sure where I'm headed, I just feel lost

Have you got any support? Flowers I'm having therapy, but I feel v stuck with that at the mo and struggling to make changes

Thank you. I see my cpn once a week and I'm waiting for CBT/DBT therapy. Before the summer I was attending an acute service three times a week so had a bit more direction, I just feel like I'm drifting at the moment.

I have built the fucking cross trainer instead of wallowing and self harming (which is what I nearly did) so feeling a) shattered and b) a bit proud.

I haven't tried it yet so it might all fall to pieces...think I'll get dh to check it over before I get my lardy arse on it.

Totally understand. Things will get better in time I promise Flowers

I'm fully functioning now after 3 years on these meds. Almost lost all the weight and now flourishing back in work. Be kind to yourself.
