Hi folks,

I have a close friend who is off work with stress, he's seeing his GP and having counselling. I've spoken to him this morning on the phone and am looking for advice as to how I can best help him (if at all). He's been off about 4 weeks now, and is having no contact with his office via calls, emails etc. He's got an anti-depressant prescription which he hasn't decided about taking them yet, he's worried about side effects and the stigmatism of being on them.

He's feeling v vulnerable at present, suffers anxiety attacks when in busy places.

He has a v supportive partner who I also know but not as well - we all met through work 12 years ago.

Just wondering what I can do to help him? I dont want to hound him to check he's ok but am v worried as well.

Thanks in advance.
