Non religious serenity saying - re discharge from MH services this is my mantra

Hi

After a year I will be discharged from NHS MH services on the 30th September. It has been a very rocky road, but I am hugely grateful that I was able to access the intervention I needed when I did (although recognise that had I had that intervention sooner it would have been more beneficial). I'm now on AD for the long term for now, no plans to wean and as part of the discharge I've had input to a letter to my GP highlighting how I would like to be supported in future.

Most of my recovery has been around acceptance, about recognising that I cannot change people only my expectations, about improving my self esteem and confidence and letting go of some pretty awful abuse in my history. And with that in mind I've adopted the serenity prayer but want to find a card or poster or something I can put up at home but which doesn't start with the prefix "God" - as I'm not religious.

I ask here as I'm not sure other topics would understand how important this is to me.

Hey, what about just making an image on a website like this quotepixel.com/make-your-own-picture-quotes.html
then using it to get a canvas/poster printed?

I don't think you'll find the serenity prayer without god mentioned tbh.
