When I got manic I completely lose control, I have tattoos, piercings, flings that I didn't want. I am aggressive and get into fights. I drive faster. I have psychosis where I am sure someone is going to rape me or the kids. I have psychosis where I Cavan see hear and feel someone touching me inappropriately. I take drugs even though I am very anti drugs.

After a episode I feel very traumatised by it am I the only one to feel this way?

Not at all!!
My manic episodes start off feeling quite good, a bit buzzy and fun but it quickly escalates into uncharacteristic and often downright awful behaviour then into rage and paranoia. I hate mania. I get frustrated when I hear people talk about what an amazing and creative thing mania is, it's not for me, it's shit.

How are you doing Im I know the last time you posted you were slipping a bit, as you'd been doing some of the things you mention above and your DH was worried about you. I was only thinking about you today and wondering how you were. Have you looked on the "Village thread" there are at least 2 posters who suffer from psychosis (3 I think) and you might find the thread interesting.

Thanks both. Yes sadly I am on a psychotic depression at the moment. I am also struggling with drug addiction I'm giving up. I have been unable to clean today it appears my mood is slipping further sadly.
I'll have a look at that thread thank you.

Sounds tough Sad
Hope you're getting good support and some decent medical input. I'm here if you need to offload, I know how horrible mania, depression and psychosis can be.
