I have panic attacks. They seem particularly worse coming up to my period. Does anyone else find this? If there's a link and ik ow about it, i can prepare.

Yes, I get them too the week before my period. Took me ages to realise the link.
I did try ssri's as I also get horrendous pmt, but the side effects were too much to deal with so stopped them.
I find now that, because I know they happen for hormonal reasons rather than that scary not-knowing why I'm having them, makes it easier to deal with. When they start I just keep telling myself "you're due on, it's your hormones making you feel like this" and I can talk myself down most of the time. I also try to have a fairly average week planned when I'm like this, because the panic attacks tend to be worse in connection with the DC's, so a new outing somewhere different with them could set me off. It's not ideal to plan like that, but it's better for us overall.

Yes. I suffer with anxiety anyway but actual attacks in week before period. Had one the other day (came on today) worrying about the kids. It's awful. Like tinfoil said it makes it a bit easier saying 'this is my hormones'.

I'm the same. Felt totally panicked about supervising a school trip. Got through the day and only realised with hindsight I reacted so badly was because I was hormonal. I've defo noticed a pattern the week before my period. I wish I could just be left alone in that week until I come out the other side!
